Europhoton 2022 registration
Registration is open to all members of the scientific and technical community. Only online registrations will be considered. Each presenting author is requested to register online.
The registration system is open and will close on Sunday 21 August 2022.
In order to benefit from the early bird fees, payment needs to be done by Tuesday 2 August 2022 at the latest. No onsite registration will take place.
Prior registering, please read all the information/directives below, then proceed with the online registration.

All registration fees are net prices exempt from Value Added Tax.
The European Physical Society is a French registered association for non profit and is not liable to VAT. For this reason the Society does not possess a VAT number.
(*) Applications for the student rates (presenting authors only) must include a scanned copy of an official student identity card during the online registration.
(**) EPS Individual Members, Members of National Physical Societies who are members of EPS benefit from reduced fees.

Applications for the EPS Individual Membership can only be valid for members having paid their 2022 membership fee.
Applications for the National Society Membership fee can only be valid if the applicant can show a proof showing that she/he has paid for her/his 2022 fees at the National Society. Please send the proof to conferences@eps.org. View list of the National Physical Societies.
The registration fees for the meeting include:
– Admission to all technical sessions of the main conference on “Solid-State, Fibre and Waveguide Coherent Light Sources”, poster sessions on Tuesday and Thursday during lunch time from 12:00 to 14:00, as well as to the half-day special symposium and summer school.
– Lunch from Monday 29 August to Friday 2 September is included.
– Coffee breaks as mentioned in the programme.
– Online programme and conference app. Link to download the app from the play store/ the app store: https://conference4me.psnc.pl/get/?config=europhoton2022
– Access to the table top exhibits.
– Online technical digest gathering the 1-page summaries. A login and password will be given.
– Public transportation ticket from 28.08 to 02.09.2022. The ticket is valid for zones A, B and C (pdf to download). GVH_Region-1 . The transportation ticket will be given at the conference venue. Each participant will still need to buy a ticket for the first transfer from the hotel to the conference.
– Welcome reception on Monday, 29.08.2022, at the New Town Hall, Trammplatz 2, 30159 Hannover. After the welcome by the Lord Mayor of Hannover, Mr Belit Onay, a snack will be offered in the restaurant Gartensaal. The costs for the reception are included in the conference fee. (Registration as conference participant is required). During the online registration, please tick the corresponding box if you intend to participate.
– The presentation of the badge will allow free admission to the Herrenhausen Gardens.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner on Wednesday, 31.08.2022, will take place on Wilhelmstein Island in the Steinhuder Meer. The participants will be taken by bus to Steinhude and back to the conference venue. In Steinhude boats will take them to the island of Wilhelmstein and back. Participants wishing to attend have to register online via the online registration system. The participation fee is as follows: € 20,- per participant or € 80,- per accompanying person.
Summer School Lectures
PhD Students and Postdocs are especially invited to attend the summer school. They will receive free entrance to the school.

The conference management will only be able to accept participants who fulfil these Covid-rules.
Registration and Payment Procedure
Only electronic registrations are accepted. The managing society will keep the right to accept/refuse participants in case online registration was not done.
In case the payment is not done by the pre-registration deadline, the late bird registration fees apply.
When registering online, take care to include all the details necessary for your invoice:
In the billing address box, make any addition that would be necessary in this field.
In the VAT box, add your number if necessary.
In the Reference box, add any reference you would need.
The system allows you to view a summary of your booking and make any change as long as you do not press on the record button.
Once the summary of your order is checked, record your order and choose either payment mean no. 1 or no. 2 (see below). By that stage, you can automatically generate and print your invoice. For special requests please contact: conferences@eps.org

3. In case you want to reserve the dinner, validate the field “Continue shopping” on the right corner and add the necessary option(s).
3. Check what you have ordered (quantity, category), in the cart box, if OK proceed to checkout
4. Fill out the form. For students, please include a scanned copy of your student I.D. card. Add a VAT number or a reference number if requested on the invoice.
5. Agree to the terms and conditions
6. Choose your payment means:
– Bank transfer – do not forget to have it done within 48 hours, put as payment reference write the invoice number.
– Credit card direct payment.
7. Agree to the terms and conditions.

9. Go to “My account” – Orders: Your invoice can directly be downloaded.
Entrance, Refund and Cancellation Policy
An administration charge of euro 50,- will be made for processing refunds. A request for cancellation must be made in writing (conferences@eps.org). In case of cancellation, requests received on or before 19 August 2022 will be refunded (less the administration charge). No refunds will be available if notice of cancellation is received after 19 August 2022. The same rule applies for erroneous payments.
Prior registering for the meeting, please check that you fulfil all the Covid-rules in effect. The conference management will bear no liability in case the participant does not fulfill them and must refuse entrance to a participant who does not fulfil the Covid-rules in effect in Hannover, Germany. No refund can be done in this case.
Entrance to the conference is also liable to the EPS Code of Conduct to be respected for EPS conferences.
European Physical Society – Privacy Policy for Conferences
Registration to conferences organised by the European Physical Society (hereafter EPS) are open to all members of the scientific and technical community.
When registering online for an EPS conference, the participant accepts to be contacted by the European Physical Society in order to further communicate on the development of the conference and its future editions.
The data of the participant will never be communicated to a third party unless the society is a partner of the organised event. The data of the participant will never be given to commercial companies.
If desired, unsubscription can be done at any time.
Photography/Video
Attendance at, or participation in, the conference constitutes consent to the use and distribution by EPS of the attendee’s image for informational, publicity, promotional and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media.
Video recording by participants and other attendees during the conference is not allowed.
Photographs of copyrighted PowerPoint or other slides are for personal use only and are not to be reproduced or distributed.
