* Grants for Young Scientists:
The European Physical Society attributes 2 grants in amount of 350 € each + registration fees waived in order to attend Europhoton 2012.

Conditions to apply:
- Open to young scientists who should not normally have received their PhD more than 6 years (or equivalent) prior to the application.
- Accepted contribution to the conference.
- Studying or working at a European institution or demonstrating economic need.

* Young IM Travel Grants:
The European Physical Society makes a limited number of grants available to Individual Members to attend a conference or school, which is approved by the EPS (which is the case for Europhoton 2012). The amount of the Grant is 350 €, and is normally paid only once the written report has been submitted. Applications are accepted throughout the year but the fund is limited so apply early.

Conditions to apply:
- Open to young EPS Individual Members who are up to date in their membership subscriptions.
- PhD students in the first 5 years after their membership.
- Accepted contribution to the conference.
- Only one travel grant may be awarded to the same individual.
- Submit a CV, a list of publications and mention the title of the accepted contribution.
- Grantees must submit a written report following the conference.

* Poster Prize:
The European Physical Society will give an amount of 250 € for a poster prize.
The poster must be prepared by the student.
The conference chairs will organise the competition. Further details will follow.
