The official language of the conference is English.

Conference Location

The conference will take place at the “Polo G. Carmignani” in Piazza dei Cavalieri, Pisa, Italy.

On-site internet connection will be possible with individual user-ID and password

Conference Dinner:

A social dinner will be organised on Wednesday evening 13 September 2006. Cost per person will be 40 EUR.
The dinner will take place at the Royal Victoria Hotel www.royalvictoria.it

Participants wishing to attend are cordially invited to pre-register via the online registration system.

Passport and Visa Requirements

Italy joins the Schengen treaty. Foreign visitors entering Italy from outside EU must be in possession of a valid ID or passport. Visitors from countries requiring visas should apply to the Italian consular offices or diplomatic missions in their home countries.
Currency

Currency: Euro is the official currency in Italy.

Major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard/Eurocard, American Express, Diners…) are generally accepted in airports, train stations, hotels, larger shops etc.
